Consider referring patients who present with chronic jaw pain or tenderness, frequent headaches or facial muscle soreness, clicking or popping in the jaw, ear pain without an ear infection, limited jaw opening, or signs of clenching and tooth wear.
Sleep-Disordered Breathing
Consider referring patients with diagnosed obstructive sleep apnea who are CPAP-intolerant or seeking an alternative, patients who snore or show signs of sleep-disordered breathing and need an airway-focused evaluation, and patients whose bruxism or morning headaches may be related to airway concerns. We work closely with sleep physicians throughout the treatment process.
